OUTLINE: Italy's most photogenic city by far is nothing less than a living museum. Perched on a bed of ancient logs and 118 islands in the middle of a lagoon, Venice is slowly ‘changing shape' and creating fresh photographic opportunities as each day passes. It’s pastel, colorful, moody, ancient, and vibrant with many moments of tranquil photographic bliss just waiting to be explored both from behind the scenes, and to the wonderfully obvious! Point your camera at Rialto Bridge, Piazza San Marco, Burano Island, the myriad of character-laden streets, alleys, bridges and Gondolas, plus San Giorgio at sunset. Dawn and twilight photography sessions, and more.

OVERSEAS TRAVEL
<> It is recommended, but not imperative, that you arrive a day early to be fresh and on time for the trip!
<> Early arrival also enables you to explore the gateway city should you wish.
<> A late flight arrival on day 1 of the trip might entail you having to find your own way to the first hotel, if not close to the airport.
<> Please note that the ending date of the trip is the day of your departure flight. Please arrange your flights accordingly.

Clients from the Americas, Africa, Asia and Australasia should depart their home country a day or two prior to Day 1 for on-time arrival in Venice, Italy

DAYS 1, 2, 3 and 4  |  VENICE, Italy
I'll meet your afternoon arrivals into Venice, and I recommend having a camera at hand for shots from the 'vaporettos' [water taxis] as we head to our accommodations. That'll be just the start of your film burning/memory card filling odyssey! After check-in it'll be time for dinner at a nearby sidewalk restaurant with photography to follow in view of the warm sun-bathed San Giorgio Island and the passing Gondolas.
Days 2, 3 and 4
will be filled with guided photographic sessions, plus a smattering of sessions on your own for those that want them. Each day will will start at dawn, pretty early by the way!, with excursions to nearby spots such as Piazza San Marco and more.
Also included is an excursion to the lace making island of Burano, a small fishing island with a 'thoroughfare' of lace shops, and houses painted in bright colors.
You'll walk in the footsteps of Venetian greats Canaletto and Vivaldi, but be ethereally inspired to produce your own visions of Venice . . . and I'll 'prod' you to new creative heights too!
VENICE, 4 nights

DAY 5  |  Flights home
Dawn at the water's edge once more with San Giorgio in view. Morning flights back to the USA in the morning.
